Dan Favre, Executive Director, Bike Easy
Dan has been riding his bicycle all over the streets of New Orleans since moving here in 2006. You may have seen him bike commuting to his former office in the CBD or zipping through City Park with friends to catch the dusk golden hour on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain. Along with a well-traveled helmet, Dan brings brings extensive experience with collaborative leadership and nonprofit management, grassroots organizing, advocacy campaigning, membership fundraising and development, and strategic communications from years working in the region’s environmental movement. As Executive Director of Bike Easy, Dan is most excited about continuing to develop a strong organization that effectively advocates for safer road systems that support biking and walking in Greater New Orleans while encouraging the on-going growth of the region’s bicycle culture.
Jessica Inman, Marketing Manager, Lyft in Louisiana
Jessica Inman is the Market Manager for Lyft in Louisiana. A native New Orleanian, Jessica’s focus is developing strong community ties and growing Lyft in Jefferson and Orleans Parishes in addition to Baton Rouge. Jessica will discuss the role Lyft plays as a transportation option in Louisiana, it’s strong commitment to community, and a look towards what Lyft has in store for the future in Jefferson Parish and beyond.
Sharon Leader, Director of Transit, Jefferson Parish
Sharon began her role as Director of Transit for Jefferson Parish in 2016. Prior to this role she was a Disaster Recovery Analyst for the City of New Orleans. From 1991 to 2014 Sharon was the Founder/Transportation Consultant for SWLEADER, INC. / LEADER & OILER INC. She attended Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Newcomb College and a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University.
Matt Hendrickson, Policy Director, Ride New Orleans
Matthew leads Ride New Orleans’ overall work with the Coalition for Quality Transit – our grassroots, rider-led organizing arm. He also plays an important role analyzing transit policies in the region and working closely with other allied organizations. He is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where obtained a Masters degree in Urban Studies with a specialization in Anthropology. His areas of research included gentrification, local economic development, and globalization. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Washington in American Ethnic Studies. Matt is originally from Seattle, WA and has lived in New Orleans since 2011. Don’t get him started on the Seahawks or Mariners this year, but go Sounders.
