MEET OUR PANELISTS:

Moderator: Philip Giorlando, Associate, Breazeale, Sachse, & Wilson, LLP

Philip Giorlando is an associate attorney in the New Orleans office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P., in the Labor and Employment Law section.

Prior to joining Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, Philip received his Juris Doctor from Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he served as Senior Editor for the Journal of Energy Law and Resources and graduated Order of the Coif. Philip earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University.

Philip has advised clients on numerous labor and employment issues, including FMLA & ADA compliance, Federal Wage and Hour Guidelines, and avoiding discrimination in business succession planning to many different industries including, Banking, Hospitality, Hospital/Healthcare, Charter Schools, and City Governments throughout the State.
 
Philip presently serves on the Board of the Young Professionals Committee for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and is the Vice-Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Subcommittee.


Courtney Kattengell, Co-Owner, TCK Realty

Courtney Kattengell has been helping buyers and sellers since 2006. She is a graduate of St. Mary's Dominican High School and the University of New Orleans.  Having spent the first 14 years under other brokers, she is now co-owner and associate broker of TCK Realty alongside her business partner of 12 years, Tiffany Riddle... the "T" in TCK!  TCK Realty is a boutique real estate brokerage created by real agents with real success behind them, proven by many association and brokerage awards over the years.  TCK brings a high level of service and experience to every transaction. Courtney enjoys building relationships and is heavily involved in her community through various board positions for local nonprofits.  At the heart of every transaction is a genuine desire for trust, transparency, and a long-term client relationship.  In her free time she enjoys reading, sleeping, and time with friends and family.

Barcley Steib, Owner, Barcley J Steib Insurance Agency Inc.

Barcley has been affiliated with State Farm for over 18 years, starting three months before Hurricane Katrina.  He relocated to Harahan to establish his own State Farm Agency in 2017.  Although we primarily serve the greater New Orleans area and surrounding cities of Jefferson, Kenner, Metairie, River Ridge and Harahan we are licensed to sell and serve the entire state of Louisiana.  Barcley doesn't treat his customers as just another customer, he gets to know each individually and educates them on their insurance needs.  Barcley recently obtained his ChFC^® designation to better serve his customers financial needs.  His community involvement includes the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, Serves as the Vice President of the E D White Catholic High School Advisory Board, Chairman of the St James Arc Thrift Store, Board member for the Boys Hope Girls Hope Annual Gala, and Elmwood Business Association member.  As you can see, Barcley is very involved in serving his customers and his community through many endeavors.

Joseph Marriott, Attorney, Sternberg, Naccari & White, LLC
Founder, Quality Title Services LLC

Joseph R. Marriott is a partner at the law firm of Sternberg, Naccari and White, LLC, where his practice focuses primarily on the representation of businesses, banks, lenders, brokers, agents and individuals in both commercial and residential real estate transactions. In addition thereto, Joseph founded the firms affiliated land title company, Quality Title Services LLC, lead it through a merger, and has grown the company from a single office to more than six offices with locations in New Orleans (Downtown and Uptown), Metairie, Covington, Hammond, and Baton Rouge. 

Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Joseph moved to New Orleans immediately prior to Katrina to attend Tulane University, where he graduated with a B.A. in History. Following several years of working in business and construction management, Joseph returned to school to earn his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he received a civil law degree and a certificate in tax law. 

In addition to practicing law, Joseph is also a Louisiana licensed real estate broker, title insurance agent and business owner. In the community, Joseph is active with Rotary International in the local Carrollton Club, where he volunteers every year at the club's Jazz Fest booth, and Jefferson Parish Chamber of Business, serving as both an ambassador for new members and as a board member of the Jefferson Parish Young Professionals. 

When Joseph is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, traveling, and when possible, the Mississippi Coast at the family's camp in Bay St. Louis.
