Virtual Lung Force Walk New Orleans

This is a Virtual event that raises awareness and honors those fighting lung disease and lung cancer with their friends and family that are supporting them through their journey. Money-raised from this event will help fund cutting-edge medical research, patient services, education and to support the association's mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. The urgency of our mission to support people with lung disease is in hyper drive right now and we need your support now more than ever! We have a free Lung Helpline that we have increased staffing due to the heightened volume of calls. We launched a COVID Initiative that will include new research on COVID-19, and emerging respiratory viruses and enhance key public health measures through education and advocacy. We will convene public and private organizations to accelerate research through collaboration to develop new vaccines, detection tests and treatment therapies, in order to prevent future respiratory virus pandemics.
